Or that proper socialization includes so much more than meeting dogs & people, but also learning how to interact & not interact with all things in the environment? Clever Critters utilizes modern, science-based, & humane training tools & techniques so you & your puppy get off to the best start & on a path for a great relationship.

Group Puppy Classes
Class Starts Tuesday, July 27th 12 PM - 1 PM
$140 for six weeks
This six-week class will focus on proper socialization, foundation behaviors, & life skills that are essential for puppy development at this critical stage. We will also address common puppy training challenges (house training, mouthing, chewing, jumping, etc) and teach positive training techniques you can continue to use in the future.
- Please note the first class is for the puppy parents only!
- Puppies should be 8 – 12 weeks old to start the class. Puppies up to 16 weeks of age may still be eligible for class, please contact us to discuss. (If the class is made up of majority “older” puppies, the age requirements may be adjusted at the discretion of the Trainer.)
- Puppies should receive a minimum of one set of vaccines at least 7 days prior to the first class & a first deworming. They should be kept up to date on age appropriate vaccines throughout the class. Proof of vaccinations will be required
$30 Per Class
This drop off opportunity with one of our trainers focuses on puppy play, continued socialization, enrichment, and an intro to training. Currently offered at Pawpular Pets Dog Wash in Newport News on Tuesdays. Please inquire for enrollment and questions. Puppies will receive a report card detailing what they excelled at, who their best friend was, what their favorite treat and toys were, and areas for improvement. It also lists what sense were addressed. (update this)
